Banco Daycoval S/A was founded in 1968 and is a leader in the Middle Market segment. This consists of commercial banks which specialize in serving small and medium-sized companies. It has achieved this position, thanks to its strategy of maintaining a high level of quality in attendance and providing tailor-made solutions to suit the needs of every client.
Daycoval is a medium-sized financial institution which is recognized on the market for its conservative profile, credibility and excellence in managing its business. The Bank offers a wide range of products and services which are directed mainly at credit and financing, investment and foreign trade.
Its operations directed at individuals are made through the Daycred brand and focus on specialist products such as payroll loans and vehicle financing.
Daycoval is based in São Paulo. At the end of 2007, it had a total of 25 branches, distributed throughout 20 towns and cities and 15 states plus the Federal District. It has 613 employees, 72% of whom work in the back office and 28% in the front office.
In June 2007, the Bank entered Corporate Governance Level 1 of the São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa) under the ticker code DAYC4.
